Wen Thai Liu/刘文泰
Music Director
Wen Thai Liu attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music whose alumni has won over 300 Grammy awards. Wen is regarded as one of the best Chinese bassists and has been a member of famous bands such as Overload/超载, 张楚, Cui Jian/崔健, 红烧肉. He has recorded and toured with many more artists in China over the last 30 years.
Naer Lin/林那儿
Music Director
Naer Lin is regarded as an iconic female bassist in China. Naer has been a member of famous bands such as Cobra/眼镜蛇, Iron Kite/铁风筝, Buyi/布衣 and 谢天笑. Naer has recorded albums and toured around China over the last 20 years.
Zeng Yang/杨增
Music Director
Zeng Yang graduated from Beijing Contemporary Music Academy. He was the famous drummer of Nu Metal band Left and Right/左右乐队. He is the first Chinese brand ambassador for Gretsch Drums. He has recorded albums and toured around China for many years.

Shawn Yu/老猫
President
Shawn Yu is a vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, and producer, and an active contributor in the local music community. He is the founder of the metal band Evil Doll and owner of LaoMao Studio, where he supports artists through recording and production. His musical background spans folk, musical theater, alternative rock, and heavy metal, shaping his commitment to building a diverse and collaborative music ecosystem.

Mix is a software engineer, the owner of Mix Guitar Lessons, and the lead guitarist of The Dropouts rock band. Known for his incredible improvisational ability and unmatched feel for the instrument, Zhao is an essential part of The Dropouts sound.

Stage Director
Shanshan graduated from Beijing Contemporary Music Academy and has 12 years of professional experience in performing arts as a choreographer, singer, dancer and stage director. She was a member of China Spice Girls, Dance2XS and Jacky Cheung’s global tour. She has joined The Dropouts band as vocalist since 2025. She runs YesL beauty clinic and specializes in aesthetics, skincare and tattooing.
Yun Liu
Logistics & Media
Yun Liu brings a unique blend of professional expertise and artistic passion to our board. With a background in hospitality and years in finance, she’s pivoted into tech as a software engineer dedicated to solving real-world problems through technology. A lifelong music lover and supporter, Yun began playing piano at age five. You’ll often find her at a concert, hunting for exotic cuisines, or planning for her next travel destination. Yun is also avid for multi-culture explorations and traditional Chinese heritage including Hanfu, Poetry, Philosophy, Shakyo and Rituals. She is truly excited to leverage her logistics and support skills to serve our local community.
